It may have slipped your notice but....

I know, I know. Enough already!

Did I tell you I have an extremist personality? Ha ha ha, lol!!!!

The reason I keep mentioning it is that it governs my thought processes and pattern of behaviour. It is who I am!

Understatement of the year; I find it very difficult, actually almost impossible, to trust people. Altogether now; because I have an extremist personality! Thank you!

Fetch the straight jacket....

  1. Hiya Hypoman,

Your story reminds me so much of my own in many ways. Like you, I was on antidepressants that didn't work (7 of them actually) and had to twist my doctor's arm to get her to test my thyroid, and then, got a call back from her nurse wondering how I was even functioning. Then, I was put on Synthroid and it helped for a couple of weeks, before I became extremely miserable again.

I'm afraid I must also have that "extremist" personality. I've always been rather black and white. Just recently, I've been managing to see a few shades of grey though.

Hopefully, by now, someone has talked to you about adrenal issues from being on Synthroid so long? And hopefully, someone has introduced you to Natural Thyroid Hormone products? I also hope you've found the wonderful and amazing site that saved my life: http://www.StopTheThyroidMadness.com

One of the regular posters at the RealThyroidHelp forum posted a link to your blog here:

That's a fabulous forum with lots of very knowledgeable people, many of whom are in the UK also.

Keep blogging and I hope you feel better soon.

  2. Siobhan, thank you for taking the time to comment.

I have been amazed at how word has spread of my blog already. Long may it continue!

It encourages me greatly to see so many websites and forums who support thyroid disease! I keep up to date with as many as possible and have visited those mentioned above.

Even if I'm not contributing on forums I most definitely read them and draw strength and comfort from them. It feel like a real community!

Having an extremist personality is a real doozy!

Please keep following my blog and spread the word. Thank you, Robert.
