I've not been feeling so good the last few days.
It is moments like these that will test my resolve to keep up with the blog. It is my intention to post every Monday and Friday, I will try my best. I know, I know, it's Wednesday!
I feel really down in the dumps. When this happens I can't help but focus on the negative aspects of my life. I also start to feel sorry for myself, not the most attractive character trait I'll admit, but seeing as I'm a virtual recluse who will even notice!
One thing that has been frustrating me is this; since the turn of the year I've been making more of an effort to reconnect with "friends" via Facebook. A few people have commented on my posts, but only a few, and this upsets me. Especially as I've made the effort to comment on many "friends" posts.
But as with this blog I've "got to keep on keeping on" (an Oasis lyric reference).
I hope to report back for duty in a more positive frame of mind soon...... keep a look out for me.
I hope you will share with us on Dear Thyroid.org. We are a community that supports each other trough the ups and downs of this disease. Please check us out and consider writing a letter, we need more men, lol!
ReplyDeleteHypoman how awful that you have been treated this way but this is the UK and they don't treat thyroid patients very well. You were over medicated rendering you hyper which in itself is a dangerous thing.
ReplyDeleteI too was directed here by Mary Shoman on FB and hope that you will join us on Dear thyroid.Org a literally group for thyroid cancer hypothyroidism, hyperthyrodism share your blog with us, write to your thyroid anything there are only a few men and I know you would be a great asset, you don't have to do this alone, it takes someone who has been through it themselves to truly understand what you are going through.
keep blogging your doing a great job. I am from the UK Graves disease (Hyperthyroid) who had surgery a few years ago rendered hypo and struggling to keep a balance and handle on things.
